Port and chocolate, a golden combination
The delicious blue Chocolates were an idea of Gerda from Zwols Porthuis and Peter from Chocolatery Borrel. These treats represent the taste of the Douro with the skills from the city of Zwolle (NL). Although blue isn’t a conventional colour for chocolate it represents the colours of Zwolle and Porto and are incidentally also the colours of the Zwols Porthuis.
We chose the best ports for the chocolates. For our Tawny chocolate we chose S.Leonardo because the intense flavour and freshness combines very well with Ariba single origin milk chocolate. The creamy filling is soft, full of flavour and has the warmth of the Tawny Port.
